This week witnessed important developments in the murder case of Alberto Nisman, the prosecutor investigating the 1994 deadly AMIA bombing, ordered by the Islamic Republic of Iran and carried out by its #Hezbollah proxies.
In 2015, 4 days before he was found dead with a bullet in his head, Nisman had accused then-president of Argentina Cristina Kirchner of covering up for the perpetrators of the bombing.
Key developments:
- Federal judge Julián Ercolini charged judge Manuel De Campos and former prosecutor Viviana Fein yesterday with “negligence” and “serious irregularities” in handling the crime scene.
- In less than 10 hours, at least 88 people passed through Nisman’s 3-room apartment creating “chaos” that made it more difficult to preserve evidence. Expert Osvaldo Raffo described the scene as the actions of “a herd of buffaloes.”
- Neighbors and visitors were able to walk freely through the apartment without being checked, while the body of the murdered prosecutor remained in the bathroom.
