Late last week, the Argentine Federal Oral Court No. 2 decided that the trial on the attempted cover-up of the 1994 terrorist attack on the AMIA Jewish community cultural center in Buenos Aires will begin on August 6, 2015.
During the trial, which was previously thought to begin in February 2016, the court will judge several Argentine public officials, including former president Carlos Menem, and Carlos Telleldín, who is accused of selling the van that held the weapon—the bomb—that was used for the deadly attack.
